Suboxone is a narcotic analgesic combination that is used to treat opiate dependence. Suboxone is the brand name for the generic drug combination of buprenorphine and naloxone.

Buprenorphine is a lot like other opioids such as codeine, heroin, and morphine however, it doesn't produce such a euphoric "high," so it can therefore be easier to stop taking. To aid in this, the naloxone blocks the effects of opioids such as codeine, heroin, and morphine.

Still Suboxone can cause drug dependence, so it must be used carefully, and only under the supervision of a doctor.
