What is carne picada and how are supposed to prepare it?
Carne picada is thinly sliced or shredded spicy beef, usually chuck. Recipe: Saute ½ cup onion in a large skillet over medium low heat until translucent. Add 5 jalapeno peppers. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove onion and peppers and set aside. Quickly brown 1 lb. ground beef on medium heat. Drain off fat and add back onions and peppers. Add 2 chopped medium tomatoes, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tsp. beef bouillon, and salt and pepper to taste. Saute over low heat for 15 minutes. Use to make sandwiches or burritos.
