What is acer cinecrystal technology?
Cinecrystal is the brand name Acer uses for their glossy screen display technology. It also indicates that it is a newer LCD display that uses LED backlighting. Older glossy displays which utilized CCFL backlighting were sold under the CrystalBrite branding.
Glossy displays tend to have better color reproduction and contrast ratios than matte displays which make them ideal for multimedia purposes such as photos and movies. The main disadvantage is the reflection and glare caused by the glossy coating.
