What is a white lion
A "white lion" is a type of lion that has a very light-colored coat, due to a rare color mutation of the Kruger subspecies of lion. They have been said to be indigenous to the Timbavati region of South Africa for centuries. Though they're considered white in color, they're not albinos. There are estimated to be only about 300 white lions left in the World. The Global White Lion Protection Trust is an organization dedicated to helping them survive and thrive.
There's also a cartoon TV series called "Kimba the White Lion," made in Japan but popular worldwide, especially in the USA.
There's a hard rock/heavy metal band named "White Lion," founded in 1983 and still active today.
