What is a little round white pill with ig on one side and 276 on the other side
Not Medical Advice: A white round pill with the imprint IG on one side and 276 on the other is 25 mg of Hydroxyzine. It is an antihistamine.
The prescription-only drug is used as a sedative to treat tension and anxiety and used together with other medications given for anesthesia. Hydroxyzine may also be prescribed for vomiting and nausea, and is used to treat contact dermatitis and hives.
Hydroxyzine is manufactured by Glenmark Generics Inc. and sold under the brand names Vistaril, Atarax, Vistaril IM, Hyzine, Vistaject-50, Rezine, Vistacon, Vistacot, Vistazine, and Vistazine 50.
Less serious side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, and headache.
Of interest, a new study suggests that hypoallergenic labels are not accurate, but one doctor thinks the assumption is a misinterpretation of data. Find out more from the New York Daily News.
