If someone gives you a full-length movie on Flixter, it means that they are participating in the UltraViolet movie Gift-A-Thon available for a limited time with Flixter.

UltraViolet is similar to Cloud and is the new industry standard for accessing TV shows and movies from any compatible service or application.

Set up a free Flixter UltraViolet account and create a Facebook account if you don’t already have one. You will receive a free movie instantly when you sign up for Flixter UltraViolet. After signing up, you will be taken to a page with a Flixter Facebook “Like” button. You will receive your 2nd free movie after you click the button.

You will also be given a Facebook “Share” link. Share with your friends, and earn 1 additional free movie if 1 friend accepts. Get 2 additional free movies if 5 friends accept. Get 3 additional free movies if 10 friends accept. You’ll then have 5 free movies.
