What does it mean if my kenwood stereo system is flashing, "protect" and how do I fix it?
There are many different reasons the Kenwood car stereo would go into protection mode. First, before you do anything, remove the negative battery cable from the battery and turn off the car. Then check that the speaker wires are not short circuited, that a speaker wire is not accidentally grounding, or that the amp's temperature and ventilation are at the appropriate setting. Determining the true reason for the issue will result in knowing what the appropriate fix/solution is.
