what does G.O.O.D. music stand for? WeAllRollAlong
G.O.O.D is an acronym for Kanye West’s production company Getting Out of Our Dreams founded in 2004.
John Legend and Common were the first to sign to the label. Other acts produced by G.O.O.D. have been Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Cyhi the Prynce, Mos Def, Pusha T, and D’Banj. Q-Tip and Teyana Taylor both signed in 2012.
West’s short film/art installation Cruel Summer just premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Starring Kid Cudi as a car thief who falls for a blind Arabian Princess, the 7 screen experience features new music from West and G.O.O.D. music affiliates.
Critics agree that the film’s footage and tunes are what captivated audiences. You can hear the music on the album also titled Cruel Summer. The album will drop in Summer 2012.
