WHAT DOES 3G & 4G STAND FOR ?

In mobile technology, 3G stands for 3rd-Generation, and 4G stands for 4th-Generation. The first generation of cellular phones were analog, while the switch to digital is what made the second generation. 3G technology is very similar to 2G, but it includes much higher data speeds. UMTS or WCMDA are the most commonly used standards for 3G. 4G is an upgrade that provides even faster data speeds. The current 4G technologies include WiMAX and LTE.
