What are the instructions to play uno

Once you have your 108 card deck of Uno playing cards, select a dealer by having each player choose a random card; the player with the highest number becomes the dealer (Word cards are counted as a zero).

Deal 7 cards to each player, and place the stack that's left, the draw pile, face down on the table.

Remove the top card of the draw pile and place it face up on the table, this is the discard pile.

Beginning from the left of the dealer, each player must place a card on the discard pile that has the same color, number, or wording as the card on top of the discard pile, or be a wild card; if the player can not do so, they must take a card from the draw pile. If the drawn card matches the discard pile's card, it may be played, otherwise play continues clockwise around the table.

You can play a wild card at any point when it's your turn, and when you do so, announce a suit; also announce a suit when you place a Draw Four card on to the discard pile.

If the player before you discards a word card, follow its directions.

When a player gets down to one card they say "UNO," however if they forget to say it and another player notices, they have to draw 2 cards.

Once a player is out of cards you can tally up the score for that player: add up the numeric value of each player's cards (Draw Two, Skip, and reverse are each worth 20 points, Wild and Wild Draw Four cards are each worth 50 points), and award them to the winner; begin a new round and continue until one player scores 500 points or more.
