Was King Arthur real?
It is possible that King Arthur did exist. A slate with sixth century engravings was discovered in Tintagel in Cornwall in the 1930s. The top part is indecipherable, but the lower part reads "Pater Coliavi ficit Artognov." Artognov is Latin for Arthnou, which is close enough to Arthur. Although, there isn't any evidence that states King Arthur truly existed.
