Baked Stuffed Claims:
- 1 small chopped onion
1 diced green pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups chopped clams
1/2 cup butter
Salt, pepper and crushed garlic
Preparation: Saute the vegetables in 1/4 cup butter. Next, add them to the chopped clams, and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Mix together the rest of the butter (melted), crushed cr@ckers, and the clam mixture. Stuff the clam shells with the mixture and bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Garnish with lemon wedges.
In seafood buzz, the Hachikyo restaurant in Sapporo, Japan says that customers who do not finish eating ordered bowls of rice topped with all-you-can-eat salmon roe must pay a fine of 1,890 yen ($20). The fine helps people remember the harsh and dangerous conditions fishermen work in. A second Hachikyo restaurant will be coming to Tokyo in April 2013.
