- Is The Last Airbender the highest grossing movie ($318M) to get the Razzie?

To date M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender is the highest grossing film to win the Worst Picture Razzie Award. At the 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards held in 2011, it also won Razzies for Worst Supporting Actor, Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3D, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay The Last Airbender (2010) collected $319,731,881 worldwide at the box office.

The 32nd Annual Golden Rasberry Awards was held on April Fool’s Day 2012 instead of the traditional eve of the Oscars. Voters of the Annual Golden Rapsberry Awards say they “prefer the faux glamour of having it be Oscar Eve.”

This year Jack and Jill became the 1st film in the Award’s history to sweep all 10 Razzies in its categories. Adam Sandler won for both worst actress and actor for his roles in the film as his own pesky twin sister and as a family man. Jack and Jill only generated $74 million at the box office.
