Yes, the couple from No Impact Man is amazingly still married! Colin Beavan and Michelle Conlin, along with their daughter and their dog, decided to see if they could live a year without leaving any sort of carbon footprint. No Impact Man was an official selection at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

The Manhattan-based family abandoned their high consumption 5th Avenue lifestyle to live one year without making any net environmental impact. They produced as little trash as possible, used no electricity, and cut out all transportation that produced CO2. There were many other restrictions, including not using toilet paper.
