Is the body building supplement, andarol, legal?

Not legal advice: Anadrol (oxymetholone), an anabolic steroid is legal in the U.S. when obtained via prescription from a medical professional. It is generally used to treat certain types of anemia and to prevent muscle tissue loss in patients with AIDS and other muscle deteriorating diseases. It is not recommended for use as a bodybuilding supplement.

Prolonged use of anadrol may result in decreased libido, impotence, coronary artery disease, peliosis hepatis (liver cysts), insomnia, male-pattern baldness in women, breast enlargement in men, edema, and decreased glucose tolerance.

Crystal Cox was recently stripped of her gold medal from the 1,600-meter relay at the 2004 Athens Olympics. In 2010 she admitted to using anabolic steroids and received a four-year suspension and her results from 2001-04 were disqualified.
