Is Kevin Sharp still alive I knew he had cancer

Sadly, Platinum Country Recording Artist Kevin Sharp died on April 19, 2014, his website confirmed

Kevin Sharp, who recorded multiple chart-topping songs and survived a well-publicized battle with cancer, has died. Sharp's sister Mary Huston said he died at his mother's Fair Oaks, California, home, at 10:49 p.m. Saturday of complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues.

He gained fame with the release of "Nobody Knows," a single on Sharp’s 1996 debut album, "Measure of a Man." He released two other albums, "Make A Wish" in 2005 and "Love Is" in 1998.

Born in 1970 in Redding, California, he was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, as a high school senior. Sharp overcame it after two years of radiation and chemotherapy.

Kevin Sharp is remembered by fellow Country Artists Wayne Warner and Jimmy Fortune. Read more at Billboard.
