At this time there’s no way to watch Netflix on your Cablevision box or any other cable company channel boxes. The only way to view Netflix TV shows and movies is via smart phone, tablet, internet connected Blu-ray players and HD televisions, iPad, Nook, Kindle Fire, PS3, Wii, PC or Mac, and streaming players like Apple TV, Roku, and TiVo.

In 2011, Cablevision began streaming its channels to the iPad with Optimum for iPad. Early this year Optimum App Live TV began streaming live and on demand content on Macs and PC. As of August 2012, subscribers can now view the same TV shows and movies on the Kindle Fire. To date the iOS Optimum app has been downloaded more than a million times.

Netflix has finally met its match after EPIX, a premium TV channel and video-on-demand service recently partnered with Amazon’s Prime Instant Video streaming service to bring even more original programs, classic films, and new releases to customers.
