Unit Drilling’s Rig 201 is 200 ft. tall, with a 40,000-foot design capability, and has a draw works HP of 4,000 which the U.S. Secretary of Energy personally traveled to Oklahoma to dedicate when it was built in 1981.
Owned by Unit Drilling Company (subsidiary of Unit Corporation), Unit Drilling’s Rig 201 is currently drilling in Cameron Parish, La., for Chevron.
