How old was judd nelson when the breakfast club was made

Judd Nelson (born November 28, 1959 in Portland, Maine) was about 24-years-old when The Breakfast Club was filmed. Filming began on March 28, 1984 and ended in May of that year. He was 25 when it was released in theaters nationwide on February 15, 1985.

John Hughes is said to have almost fired Judd Nelson (John Bender) because he was mean to Molly Ringwald (Claire Standish) off camera. Paul Gleason, who played Richard Vernon the assistant principal convinced Hughes that Nelson was just trying to stay in character.

Of interest, Nelson's most recent projects include voicing Ben 10,000 and Eon for the animated series Ben 10: Omniverse, the role of Jim in the television series The Neighbors, a crime-thriller called Down and Dangerous, a comedy called Road to the Open, and a action-comedy called Buds. Buds is scheduled to hit theaters on September 14, 2014.
