Sources suggest Jim Leyland signed an extension contract with the Detroit Tigers in October 2012 worth more than $2 Million.
In an interview published by mlive, Leyland said he will manage the Detroit Tigers in 2013 for the same amount of money he made in 2012 (which is the same salary he had in 2011 and was the same amount of money he made in 2010).
In sports news, Jim Leyland, who led the Detroit Tigers to two pennants in eight seasons and got them to the verge of a third this season, will not return for a ninth. Leyland announced he is stepping down as Detroit's manager. Check out more at USA Today.
