How much does a NFL player get paid to say "I'm going to Disney world" when they win the super bowl?

In 1987, quarterbacks John Elway and Phil Simms were offered $75,000 to make the iconic statement if their team won the Super Bowl. In 1998, the fee dropped to $30,000 for the player who appeared in the commercial. The player also receives a trip to Disney World or Disneyland to make an appearance there.

NBA Finals MVP Magic Johnson, World Series MVP Frank Viola and America Cup winner Dennis Conner all appeared in similar commercials in 1987.

In the commercial, a voice over asks, " You've just won the Super Bowl. What are you doing next?" To which the player replies, " I'm gonna go to Disney World!". More than four dozen athletes and teams have appeared in these commercials over the last 26 years.

In 2012, Eli Manning of the New York Giants appeared in the commercial. In 2013, Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens appeared after Super Bowl XLVII.
