The Denver Broncos quarterback, Peyton Manning passed Brett Favre for the league's record for career touchdown passes with his 509th career scoring pass in front of a national prime-time audience on Sunday, October 19.
SB Nation reported that Manning is now the NFL's all-time leader after finding Demaryius Thomas for a 8-yard score against the San Francisco 49ers. Manning broke Brett Favre's record of 508, and in the process gave the Denver Broncos a 21-3 lead just before halftime.
Following pass interference in the end zone, an incomplete pass and a sack, Manning and Thomas were able to connect on third down for the record. Thomas did well on his part, securing the ball and getting both feet in bounds right along the sideline.
