James Garner and wife Lois Fleishman Clarke had one of Hollywood's longest-lasting marriages. They got married on August 17, 1956, and endured 57 years until his death on July 19, 2014, at the age of 86.
According to CNN, Police, who were called to his residence on a Saturday night in Los Angeles, say he died of natural causes. He’ll likely be best remembered for a James Garner persona that seemed inseparable from the real-life man: Professional, unruffled, witty and never too impressed with himself.
Garner is survived by his wife and their two daughters, Kim (Clarke's daughter from her previous marriage) and Gigi (Greta, daughter from their marriage).
