How Long Has Dennis Haysbert Been Doing Allstate commercials ?
Dennis Haysbert (born Dennis Dexter Haysbert on June 2, 1954 in San Mateo, California) began as the spokesman for Allstate Insurance Company in 2003.
His contract with Allstate was set to expire on January 15, 2012, but according to WN.com, Haysbert agreed to a new contract with Allstate in 2011 for three more years meaning that he'll be pitching insurance until at least January 15, 2015; at that point his contract will have stretched for 12 years (as of 2014 it's been 11 years)
You can look forward to seeing Haysbert in several upcoming films including: Santos, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Men Women & Children, Think like a Man too, Heartburn, and Omaha Street.
Having just reported their first-quarter earnings, Allstate isn't doing as well as Mr. Haysbert. MarketWatch reports that earnings were off by 15% for the company, which they attribute to impacts from winter storms.
