How long does a wic class last?
WIC (Women, Infants, Children) Classes normally last anywhere from ten to thirty minutes. Classes are held online and in the office where you receive WIC.
The classes are meant to be easy and convenient. WIC Online courses can be accessed any time, 24 hours a day.
It is required to complete classes in order to continue to receive WIC. Some of the courses offered are breast feeding, pregnancy nutrition, lead poisoning, and smart shopping.
New for 2012: WIC is giving out coupons worth $20 per person in the family (older than 6mos.) for use at local Farmers Markets. If you're WIC-eligible, you can get the coupons from any WIC location.
