Jase Robertson, of Duck Dynasty, claims that historically they have always grown their beards long during hunting season, but would cut them off when hunting season was over.
Now however, since they started filming for television, they keep the beards year-round. CEO of Duck Commander, Willie Robertson claims that the beard is good for business because it makes the family more recognizable.
The Robertson family went from living in poverty to being wealthy due to the successful sales of their duck calls. Phil Robertson spent 25 years making duck calls in a dilapidated family shed.
In recent Duck Dynasty news, the shows season finale shattered A&E Network’s viewing records and had an estimated 6.5 million viewers.
