How far apart are cornhole boards supposed to be?

According to the American Cornhole Association the "Pitcher's Box" (the boards) should have 27 feet between them.

The actual holes are then separated by 33 feet, with the Junior Foul Line being 21 feet out.

When you play you get 1 point for each bag that lands on the board but does not touch the ground, and 3 points for sinking the bag in the hole. Any bag touching the ground is disqualified and gets 0 points.

On Saturday, June 16 the Danville Village Mall in Danville, Illinois will be holding a Cornhole Tourney from which all proceeds will benefit the homeless veterans program of the Illiana Veterans Administration.

At the same time the First-Ever Cornhole Tourney will be hosted by the Young Professionals Connection of Douglas County, Ga., on June 23, from which proceeds will go to the annual Leadership Scholarships that are presented to local high school seniors.
