how does bosley hair solution work?

Not Medical Advice:

The Bosley Procedure is described as "a simple, outpatient procedure."

An anaesthetic is used to suppress any pain, and a small donor strip is removed from someplace on the head, usually in the back, which is easily concealed by the remaining hair. The donor strip is then divided into follicular groupings, units containing one to four hair follicles.

Later another anaesthetic is applied and the doctor makes small incisions for each follicle group in the recipient area.

Another option offered by Bosley is Follicular Unit Extraction. In this procedure each graft is removed directly from the scalp, rather than removed from a donor strip, and implanted in the recipient area.

Aderans Company of Japan, a company founded in 1969 as a wig maker is the owner of Bosley; they claim to be the world's leader in products for the bald and balding.

Aderans announced on July 16, 2012 that it has entered into an agreement to buy out the Hair Club for Men and Women from the Regis Corporation for $163,500,000.
