Ultimate Warrior died outside a hotel in Arizona after suffering what officials called a "catastrophic medical event", TMZ reported just hours after his appearance on "Raw."
According to law enforcement sources who spoke with witnesses, Ultimate Warrior "clutched his chest" before he collapsed. All signs point to a massive heart attack as there is no evidence showing drugs or alcohol were a factor in his death. He was 54.
The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan in a WrestleMania match in 1990. He was the first wrestler to do it using his finishing running splash for the pin. He won a championship at Toronto's SkyDome in front of 67,678 fans in a match named as ''The Ultimate Challenge.'’
