The lead singer of Warrant died from unknown causes, awaiting a toxicology report. Most undetermined causes of death that are awaiting a toxicology report mean the cause of death will be revealed on the report; in other words: drugs. Witnesses claim the singer’s—Jany Lane’s—body was found in a motel room with vodka and prescription pills. Warrant exploded in popularity with the release of the 1990 album and title track “Cherry Pie.”
