How did the group 98 degrees get their name?

The group decided on 98 Degrees after a suggestion from their managers, Johnny Camisa and Paris Djon, because they felt it conveyed the same atmosphere of heat and romance present in their music. The band originally rejected the band names Just Us, Next Issue, and Verse Four.

98 Degrees is a boy band consisting of Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons, and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey. They released their first album in 1997 and had their first mega-hit with "Because of You." The band has sold over 10 million records worldwide and have achieved eight top 40 singles in the US.

98 Degrees recently reunited for a performance on the Today Show, appearing onstage together for the first time in 10 years! 98 Degrees also has plans to get back into the studio!
