How deep is Lake Powell at its deepest point?

Lake Powell, the 2nd largest man-made lake in the U.S. reaches a depth of more than 500' in areas. The shoreline of the lake is actually longer than the entire West Coast of the U.S, it stretches 1,960 miles, & the lake itself is 186 miles long. Lake Powell lies between Utah & Arizona, with the dam that created it being in Arizona. The building of the Glen Canyon Dam started on March 13, 2024 and took 17 years to complete (6/22/1980). It's said that you could explore it for 30 years and not see it all.
