Does ocean water ruin acrylic nails?
Ocean water (salt water) has no effect on acrylic nails. The acrylic on your nails can be dissolved by acetone based liquids. To bring back the shine to your nails after playing on the beach use the EzFlow ProShiner buffer or the ibd Quick Shiner Block. Avoid using EzFlow UV30 as a topcoat over your acrylics. Sunscreen will turn it gummy and cause discoloration.
