Jennifer Hudson doesn’t currently have a role on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Many fans have done a double-take mistaking her for Angell Conwell who plays Leslie Michaelson on the show.
Conwell has been in the films Sex Tax: Based on a True Story (2010), Perfect Combination (2010), The Killing of Wendy (2009), Frankenhood (2009), and There’s a Stranger in My House (2009). She’s also appeared in TV shows like City Guys, Virtually Casey, Moesha, and 3rd Rock from the Sun.
Conwell’s latest film is called Back Then. No release date has been advertised to date.
Hudson’s latest projects include the Andrew Levitas comedy-drama Lullaby which is scheduled to begin filming in June 2012 in NYC. She will also be starring in George Tillman, Jr.’s independent film The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, which will begin shooting in July 2012 in NYC for a 2013 release.
