Does duke die in the new g.i.joe movie?
The character of Duke (Channing Tatum) in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, scheduled to be released in 2013, will die. There are no further details about how Duke will die.
The decision was made to kill off Duke because he is being phased out of the toy line. It also coincides with the story line after Duke and Lt. Falcon discover that they are half brothers.
The film will also star Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Bruce Willis as General Joseph Colton, and Ray Park as Snake Eyes. Tatum also played Duke in the 2009 movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
