does allen heff and ton jones get paid for being on suction hunters

Allen Heff and Clinton “Ton” Jon of Auction Hunters have never disclosed in interviews if they get paid or how much the Spike channel pays them to appear on the series. Sources suggest that their salary per episode is around $12,000 to $15,000 each, which is similar to what is speculated to be earned by the cast of A&E’s Storage Wars.

Heff and Jon have told audience members that when it comes to buying storage units they follow the 80% / 20% rule. This means that 80% of their total profit is made from just 20% of the units they purchase. In Season 3 the auction hunters paid between $450 and $5,000 each episode for their storage units and came away with profits of between $6,345 and $16,670.

Auction Hunters drew in an average of 1.9 million viewers an episode in Season 3. Production of 26 episodes for Season 4 is just beginning. Fans shouldn’t expect the premiere until January - May 2013.
