Do midgets get drunk faster than normal size people?

Not Medical Advice:

Although there are many factors that affect one's blood alcohol concentration (BAC), body weight determines a large part of how inebriated somebody may become.

Since a little person will typically weigh much less than a larger sized person, their lower body weight will cause them to become inebriated quicker.

A BAC as low as .04 can affect one's ability to drive a car safely, and a 100 pound person taking just 1 drink can reach that BAC level.

There were stepped up efforts to stop incidents of driving under the influence this past Labor Day. The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown ran from mid August through Labor Day in 2012.
