Nora Ephron (Born May 19, 1941 in New York City) directed both Sleepless in Seattle (1993) and You've Got Mail (1998).
She also directed Julie & Julie (2009), Bewitched (2005), Lucky Numbers (2000), Michael (1996), Mixed Nuts (2004), and This is My Life (1992).
She's also credited for the screenplay for Julie & Julie, Hanging Up (2000), You've Got Mail, plus a dozen more for which she either wrote, or created the screenplay.
Sadly she lost her battle with leukemia on June 26, 2012, she was 71 years old.
