Did Axl Rose die

Axl Rose is alive and still performing with other musicians under the name Guns N’ Roses. Rose however is the only original iconic member of the band to remain in the group. Born William Bruce Rose, Jr. in 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl moved to L.A. and co-founded Guns N’ Roses in 1985. The band went on to define the late-80s/early-90s rock sound. By 1993 every member of Guns N’ Roses left the band except Axl. As sole owner of the band’s name, he assembled replacements for the absent members. In 1997 the new Guns N’ Roses began playing and rumors of an album were surfacing. Lineup changes and album release date postponements continued until 2008 with the release of “Chinese Democracy.” In April 2012 the traditional Guns N’ Roses lineup was invited for induction into the Rock Hall of Fame. Axl Rose refused to accept the induction or to have it accepted on his behalf. Other members of the group, Matt Sorum, Steven Adler, Duff McKagen and Slash, attended the ceremony and accepted their induction to the Hall.
