Jeff Dunham, born Jeffrey William Robinson Dunham on April 18, 1962 in Dallas, Texas is a stand-up comedian and a ventriloquist. He and ex-wife Paige Dunham have three children. Dunham is best known for his controversial characters. Two of them “Bubba J” and “Jose the Jalapeno on a Stick” appear to be tributes to Edgar Bergen’s Mortimer Snerd and Senor Wences’ “Pedro”, a torso-less head in a box. His other characters include: Achmed Junior, Diane, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Melvin the Superhero Guy, Sweet Daddy Dee, Peanut, and Walter.
