Can your Hero become a Super Saiyan 2 on Hero Mode on Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi
In Hero Mode, you can become a Super Saiyan, but not right away. You must train in Hero Mode to learn skills & super moves- then eventually the transformation.
