Not legal advice. New Hampshire law states that wine and beer can be purchased only at state-run grocery stores on Christmas Day. There doesn't seem to be any official prohibition for selling alcohol at liquor stores on Christmas Day, but New Hampshire liquor stores were closed last year on Christmas Day.
According to the Liquor Commission of New Hampshire, all liquor stores and wine outlets are closed on Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas days. Some states have blue laws that don't allow alcohol sales on Sundays, election days, and some holidays.
Georgia liquor store owners are now allowed to keep their businesses open on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. This will be happening for the first time in 30 years for the state of Georgia.
