Can kinkajous eat yogurt and citrus?

Kinkajous can eat citrus fruits. They are especially fond of apples, apricots, bananas, cherries, figs, grapes, kiwi, mango, melons, papaya, peaches, pears, pineapple, plums, oranges, and tangerines, as well as artichokes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, corn on the cob, romaine lettuce, sugar snap peas, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.

Experts encourage owners to feed kinkajous yogurt at least once week, but warn that because they are lactose intolerant eating other dairy products will make them very sick.

Paris Hilton was bit on the leg in 2006 by her pet kinkajou forcing her to go to the hospital for treatment.

A skeleton of a kinkajou, also known as the Central American honey bear is on display in the newly opened Extreme Mammals traveling show at the Chicago Field Museum.
