Photos of Kat Dennings (born Katherine V. Litwack on June 13, 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) appear to be real; they don't look anything like the countless composite photos we've seen of other celebrities.

Going viral across the internet in late 2010, this series of apparently self-shot cell phone photos generated headlines across all the gossip sites.

Some sites suggested that it may have been a publicity stunt carried out by Dennings herself, while others suggest that, in this age of sexting being more and more common, it may have been released by someone with whom she was in a relationship.

The star of the TV series 2 Broke Girls (2011-2012), had her last movie role in Thor (2011), but she revealed that she doesn't know if she'll return for Thor 2 saying "You know, I don’t know. Marvel is so tight lipped, you never know anything. So I have no idea."

Her next film will be Renee, slated for release later this year.
